CREATED A PUBLIC DOMAIN. 'The Mayor is in receipt of the following communication from the Under-Sec-retary for Lands: — "Section 2340 and part of section 2343, town of New Plymouth.—l have the honor, by "direction of the Hon. Minister of Lands, to inform you that the above ar«a has be'en brought under the provisions of part 11. of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, by Order-in-Couucil published in Gazette No. 10(i, of the 3rd of December, 1908, and will in future be known as Marsland Hill Domain. "An Order-in-Council is now bebg prepared appointing the New Plymouth Borough Council a Domain Board to have control of the Domain. Will you please state the time (day and hour) in each month and place (building) that the Borough Council, when appointed, will meet as a Domain Board for the transaction of business? These particulars are required for insertion in the Order-in-Council—l have the honor to lie, etc., Wm. C. Kensington, Under-Sec-retary.
