ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A painfuly sudden death occurred this evening. Mr. Charles McCormjck, a married man, employed as foreman by the Ferro-Concrele Co., who had been at work as* usual all day, wa* walking home, and when near his residence in Upper Pitt street was seen to fall. lie was picked up and carried into his house, hut on the arrival of a medical man he was found to be dead. Deceased, who was 3D years old, is stated to have been subject to heart disease, • SUPKISED SUICIDE. Tnvercargill. Tuesday. The body of E. 11. Brown, 30 years of age, who disappeared from his home •iti the Avenue several weeks ago, was found to-day in the Waipahi Rim. •Deceased was formerly employed at the Bank of New Zealand. At the time of his disappearance word came to In* vercargill of his re-appointment to Rangiora. Death was apparently due to suicide. Invercargill, Last Night. At the inquest on the body of tho missing man E. B. Brown, which wa* found in the Waipahi river to-day, a verdict of found drowned was returned.
