The Canterbury rep. cricket team leave Auckland by the southern express to-morrow morning. The members of the party were entertained at a theatre party this evening. When spoken to by a Herald representative after the match, Br. Orchard, manager of the Canterbury team, said that the game had been most enjoyable, and that he had never known a match wliore the play changed so often and interest was sustained for so long. Their only regret was that they were not taking the shield back with them. The match had been played in the best possible spirit.
