By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. Au inquest was held to-day regarding the dentil of Wooster, who shot himself in the Caledonian. Hotel on Sunday morning. The Coroner (Mr. H. W. 'Brabant, S.M.) returned a verdict to the, effect that deceased died from, a wound sclf-iiiilicted. Auckland, Last Night. ■Henry Harding, 35 years of age, an 1 able seaman on the schooner Saxon, fell overboard from that vessel this after 1 noon, and was drowned. Christcliurch, Monday. 1 Thos. Margctts, builder and joiner, ' of Moorhousc Avenue was found by " his wife early this morning lying dead • in his workshop. He had apparently " shot himself with a revolver just under r the heart placing the muzzle underneath > his clothes. The weapon was lying at his side. Cliristehurch, Last Night. I An inquest was held at the morgue e this afternoon by Mr. 11. W. Bishop, * 'District Coroner. After hearing the cvi- ' deuce of Mrs. Margctts and Sergeant ' Keep, the. Coroner recorded a verdict : ' Unit deceased committed suicide, but there was no evidence to show his state '" of mind at the time, e Bluff, Monday. Oeorge Thomas, a fisherman, aged 30, II a native of Wales, was found drowned lf in the harbor on Sunday morning. It is presumed that lie fell overboard 0 while getting aboard his cutter.
