ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED. Christchurch, December 25. At the inquest on Charles Blomgrei, ,a member of De Grocn's Orchestra, who was drowned in tile Avon, a verdict of accideutal death, was returned. TWO MEN BROWNED. Blenheim, Last Night. A drowning fatality occurred in Pclorus Sound on Christinas Day, in which] Percy Blackbie and Thomas W'akelijhl lost their lives. They fell overboard from a launch, and the bodies had 'not been recovered on Saturday. Particulars are m'engrc, but it is understood that deceased were residents of Havelock. FOUND DEAD. Wellington, Last Night. A man apparently about 45 years of age was found dead in Courtenay Place last evening. He has so far been unidentified. There is a slight scar on his neck. Medical men are holding an examination of the body to-day. ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. Wellington, .Last Night. A man named Win. August, whilst shooting with anotlier man, was accidentally shot in the face through his companion's gun going off accidentally 1 August is seriously, but, it is believed not dangerously wounded.
