NEWTON KINO'S REPORT. At the Haymarekt on Saturday, 19th inst., store pigs made 20s to 30s, slips lis to 19s, 'horse, trap, and harness £lB os. light draught mare £25 10s. At rremti on Monday there was again a very large muster (principally young cattle), with good attendance of buyers. Mixed calves £1 Is to £1 Bs, yearling .steel's £1 15:? At Rahotu on Tuesday there was a good muster with fair attendance, the following prices being realised. WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. On Saturday last we had an extra large entry of poultry. Prices, as usual so near Christmas, showed a slight decline. Prices as under: —Chicks 5d to 9d, old liens Is 6d to Is Bd, good table hens 2s to 2s 9d, cockerels 9d to 2s 4d, ducks 2s to 2s (Sd, ducklings (forward; Is 9d to 2s, good young goslings 3s to 3s Od, turkeys, good, goblers Ss to 9s Od. poor 5s to 0s (id, hens 2s Od to ss, Gui near fowls 2s ,to 2s Od. Fruit.—Wo have now decided to increase our space for the handling oi fresh fruits, and have taken over Mr Newton King's late fruit mart in James 1 Lane, where out fruit sales will in future be held. This week fruit has come forward in large supplies.
