MIXERS' EIGHT HOURS BILL. London, December 18. Lord Lansdowne forecasted import ant changes in tile Miners' Eight Hours Bill to be proposed in committee. The Bill contains a. proviso to exclude the time taken in entering and leaving the mine from the working day for five years, after which the time of ingress or egress is to be counted as part of the working day. Lord Lansdowne proposes to cancel the hitter proviso, leaving any change in future to Parliament. NATIONALISING LONDON DOCKS. Received 17, 10.55 p.m. London, December 17. The House of Lords passed the Port of London Bill through committee.
