m A BIGAMIST SENTENCED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday.
Thomas Joseph Ladd appeared before Judge Edwards to-day for sentence on a charge of bigamy. The Judge said he had decided to admit the accused to probation for two years, as it did not appear that he had deceived thJ; woman with whom lie had gone through a form of marriage. His main mistak? seemed to have been committed befor" lie went through the marriage cove mony.
