Answering a question in Hie Assembly whether the Governor had received "i reply from Lord Crewe, Secretary of State for the Colonies, to the resolution parsed last session dealing with the Governor's action in granting a dissolution, Mr. Kidston said the House had made no representations to Hie Home authorities on the subject. The Governor had forwarded the resolution to Lord Crewe and received a confidential reply. The fact that the Governor wis not recalled indicated that the Home authorities approved his conduct.
