THUNDERSTORM IN THE NORTH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Darga villc, Tuesday. About 2.1S p.m. a brief but terrific thunderstorm swept over Dargaville. Two men were knocked down, but neither was seriously injured, though one, an elderly man named Xorgrove, receiv-: ed a severe shock and for a time r'c-f mained unconscious. DUXEDIN DOCKYARDS. Dunedin, Last Night. At a meeting of the Otago Dock Trust to-night for the. purpose of considering the position of affairs in connection with the new dock, it was decided that in view of the contractors' breaches of contract action competent to the Trust under clause 17 of the general conditions of the contract be forthwith taken. It was stated that since the time when fhc new dock should have been completed 40 vessels, which should have been docked here, had gone to other ports.
