RICHARDS' ENTF.RTAINERS. On a recent performance of the above I company, appearing here to-night and I to-morrow night, the vVaikal,, Argus thus comments:—This company advertised themselves as the best 'show of the kind, and hist night's programme in the Town Hall, Hamilton, fully justified their claim. A series of pictures- • clear, bright, and llickerless—the host we have seen here, were shown. The baritone of the company, Mr. Kvamlet Balfour, sang " Love, Could 1 only tell Thee," and for an encore "»Sally Horner." His voice is full and rich, with the maximum of ell'ect and expression. Will Hughes followed with two or three comic songs and palter, and immediately jumjied into favour with the audience. More picture-—" Snatched from a Terrible Death.'' a picture of a girl being nU'ered a* a human sacrifice to the Snake (iod in India, being rescued 'by n most intelligent elephant. After ' tiie. interval Mr. Richards showed a fine series of Cup Dav pictures taken by himself, showing the lawn, various stages uf the Cup race. and. of course. Lord Nolan winning. "The Dumb Hero" was perhaps the star picture of the evening, being intensely interesting and dramatic. Mr. Italfour then sang two new illustrated "The Man Who Fights the Fire," and '• Red Wing." Nexl came the star variety turn, the two Arnolds, brilliant and burlesque juggler. They did much that was clever and more that was comic, a bottle joke caiisiue. much merriment. The programme i-oncluded with some beautiful coloured films.
