HIGH SCHOOL BOARD.
The monthly meeting of (jhe New i'lynuiutli llie.U School Hoard was held on Wednesday. Present Messrs. M. Fraser (in the chair), S. I'. Smith, Ji. IJoekrill, X. K. McDiarinid, J. 10. Wilson, (ilasgfnv, and Dr. Fookes. It was decided that the chairman should confer with the headmaster and arrange an earlier hour for commencing the breakiag-up ceremony. A report <m the school from Mr. T. 11. (Jill (Inspector) was read. It was ton-sid-ered very satisfactory. Tilie question of forming a boarding establishment in connection with the present ilnv school came up for discussion. A liintion -Thill, it is desirable to at once proceed with the establishment, "f a boarding'-hou-,e and that the I'eeomiiH'ndations of Hie sub-committee as contained in it- report be left in Is hands to cany out" was carried. A further nieetin;,' of the suli-committee will be held next week. Accounts ainoiinlitifj to tlsi 17s lid were parsed for payment.
