STICKING-UP CASE.
A MASKED MAN'S FAILUBE. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Eketahuna, Wednesday;. A sticking-up case occurred at Nr:eaha last night. A man whose face was covered with a mask and who had a revolver in each hand, entered the cooperative stores and ordered Mr. Dowden, the manager, and two directors, to put up their hands. ill-. Dowden approached the man, who threatened to shuot him, and knocked the l evolve? aside. He then rag up the Eketahuna police. While lie was doing so the man decamped. This morning a f Jung .vrn. twentythree years old, named Alwood, was arrested and charged with the offence. He was remanded to appear tomorrow.
