, t FATAL CART ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ■ ( Auckland, Last Night. George McCaslin, 0!) years of age, coal aud firewood dealer, met with a fatal accident; in the New North road, Kingslailil, at 1.40 p.m. to-day. McCaslin was sitting on the shaft of a cart in which he was conveying a load of firewood to • customer when he slipped and fell on, the roadway. As he fell he rolled, and the wheel of the cart passed over his ] head, inflicting a fracture of the skull amjra severe scalp wound. The innn was attended by a doctor, who sent him to the hospital, where he expired at 4 p.m.

At an inquest to-day on the body o* William Park, who died as a result of being knocked down by a motor cyclist named Cameron, a local dentist," Mr. Critickshank, S.M., sitting without a. jury, found a verdict of accidental death, adding: "I won't say there is no blame attachable to him (Cainreron),, because I think there is a little blame attached to him.'' Daniel Leonard, a driver, was very -seriously injured while working on the Queen's Wharf this morning, through a hardwood telegraph pole freeing itself from the grips with which it" was being discharged from a vessel and striking him on the neck. The man was taken to the hospital.

BUN OVER BY A DRAY. Napier, Monday. Moses I.umont, a driver, was seriously injured through falling off a dray. One wheel of the vehicle went over both his legs and badly fractured one in three places.
