KIDNAPPED BY BRIGANDS.

They refused to accept a ransom of £2OOO, demanding double that amount, A corps of mounted police, with a 1 couple of machine giras, bombarded the village and killed the ringleaders. Nenfcld, by throwing himself to the ground, avoided injury and was rescued.
