NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Messrs. Nolan and Co." report for the week ending December 2nd, 1908:■Poultry—We had a large entry of all classes, 21)7 birds being penned. All lines met with good competition and sold at prices as follows:—Hens 2s 2d to 2s i)d, cockerels 2s to 3s 2d, roosters 2s to 2s ()d, ducks Is. 7d to 2s Od, chickens 7d to Is 3d, ducklings Is <kl to 2s (id, turkey gobblers 8s (id to 10s, turkey I hens 4s (id to ss. At the mart sundries realised satisfactory rates. Fruit—The season is opening well. Nelson and Auckland consignments are coming to liand. Strawberries realised from Is 3d to Is 9'/ s d, poor quality Is 1 '/.d. gooseberries 5s to 5s 3d per 221b case, tomatoes lid to »'/ 2 d per lb, lemon, (small cases I 2s lid.
