ARAWA LOSES A PROPELLER, By Telograph.—-Press Association. Hobart, November 30. The Arawa lost one propeller when she was a week out from Capetown. She came on with one screw for the rest of the journey at an average speed of ( jy u knots an hour. NAUTICAL INQUIRY. Wellington, November 3D. The magisterial inquiry into the striking of the steamer Kapiti (Captain Shaw) on some objects in Cook Strait on October Ifl was held io-day.
