JIEETI'-\G OF SYNOD. The Wanguuui Synod of the .Methodist Church of Australasia opens in New Plymouth to-day. The chairman of the district, Rev. C. E. Beecroft, of Feeding, will preside. There will be a sacramental service at IU.SO this morning and a ministerial session at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
