THE DAIRY REGULATIONS
IMPERSONATING INSPECTORS. Evidently in the minds of some people anything is fair in politics, as it is said to be in love or war. In regard to the suggested dairy regulations, Mr. I Jennings found out that something was j wrong when he got. back to Waitara I from his tour hi other portions of the Taiimaninui electorate. Some of the I actions attributed to the dairy i.isp.'Cj tiirs were so extraordinary that lie (Mr. Jennings) communicated with tiechief inspector, Mr. Deem. An iui|iiiry. was immediately ordered? and it was proved that the inspector did not visit several of the farms mentioned at all, where he was supposed to have given: extraordinary instructions. The natural inference to be drawn is Hint some one impersonated the inspectors in various portions of the district. More will probitbly be heard of this matter.
