■MURDER AND ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. A HUSBAND'S CRIME. Sydiiey, November 28. A domestic tragedy is reported from Pnddington, a suburb of Sydney. A young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Mather, were married eleven months ago. The union proved unhappy and the wife returned to her parents' home. Her husband visited her last night and was apparently friendly. As, however, his wife was preparing to go for a walk l with him Mather drew a revolver and shot her dead. lie then shot himself.
