CHILD MURDER.

By Telegraph.--Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. The body of a newly-born infant was found by n farm-hand on Fniuraay morning lying on the side of the maiii road between Wroy's Bush and Winton. At the inquest to-day the evidence showed positively that the cuud had breathed, and that it bad mstained ante-mortem lasceration nt the back of the skull and a broken jaw. A verdict of wilful murder by some person or persons unknown was returned.
