At AHhorpe lighthouse one of the keepers, named Welding, accidentally ■ shot himself through the body. The wound was serious. Two days later - another keeper, Baiidall, was signalling for assistance for Webliug, when the 1 signal rocket burst, severely injuring ' him. The third keeper succeeded in attracting the attention of a vessel, which took the wounded men off.
