Christchurc-h, Saturday. The New Zealand Shipping Company were today in receipt of the following cable from their London office; "T|e ■'<■. Tongariro is at Dover. She has been in ' • '■ collision with the steamer Druuilanrig. The Tongariro is seriously damage!, and.must return to London. No on* is injured.'' The Tongariro left London on Thursday for Plymouth, and was to have left Plymouth to-day for Wellington.
