CHALMERS OFFICIAL COUNT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The official count for Chalmers shows ,thc following result:-Clark 2033, Allen 2408, with one vote to come. MB. McNAB'S RESIGNATION. Wellington, Last Night. The Prime Minister received Mr. R. MeNab's resignation late this afternoon. Sir Joseph Ward will carry on the portfolios for a fortnight pending the reconstruction of the Cabinet. Mr. McNab was a passenger for Sydney by the Ulimaroa this afternoon. He will at once resume his researches in connection with the historical work on New Zealand upon which he has been engaged for some years.
