In reply to the Wanganui Cricket Association's suggestion for a West Coast Challenge Shield to be competed for by the North and South Taranaki, ilanawatu, Kangitikci, Awnrua, and Wanganui Associations, under similar conditions as for the Plunket Shield, it was resolved that the North Taranaki Association should heartily support such a sc-heuie. ft was suggested that the matter be pushed forward at once, and that the Association winning the greatest number of West Coast Association matches this season should hold the shield for the year. A subscription of £1 Is was voted towards the cost of a shield.
