RAISING THE WIND. London, November 25. The Daily Chronicle advocates the imposition of a tax of Id in the £ on all land values. This would yield £22,500,000 a year, The Daily News declares that it would be possible to raise an additional £(,000,000 a year by increasing the tax on the liquor trade to the American standard.
