AUCKLAND WOOL SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Hist wool sale of the season takes place at the Auckland Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday. The jMnnber of bales catalogued this year exceeds the total number offered -'.t the eorresponding sale of last year. This is t ii-- result ofthefinoweatlier which prevailed duriin' the shearing season, thus enabling the farmers to get through with their shearing operations earlier than usual. The wool is of exceptionally gooil cpiality, and fairly light in grease. For some vears there has been a yearly improvement noticeable, and the standard of the fleece to be oilercd on Wednesday next is well up to the average. This is "the result of using move care in the selection of rams, and also to the better get up of the wool before packing.
