ISLAND MURDERERS.
A HOT PURSUIT. Sydney, November 23. The pnnitivc expedition sent to punish the murderers of the Greigj family in the New Hebrides consisted of the native police aad an armed party from H. 11.5. Prometheus. The expedition surprised the village tribe which was concerned in the murder. The inhabitants made a dash for the hills. The native police fired and six women end one child were. shot. When the last mail left the party was still in ■pursuit of the murderers.
