.MURDERER .SENTENCED TO DEATH
Calcutta, November 20. Natyendra, who with Kauai murdered tile informer Gossain in the goal hospital at Alipur, has beeu sentenced to death. He is to be executed and bis body cremated within the goal grounjit. GUARDING THE QUEEN'S STATUE. Calcutta, November 20. The Maharajah of Saleguja has offered to defray the expenses of keeping permanent police guard at Qu?en Victoria's Statue at Nagpur, which was recently disfigured, EXTREMISTS' PLANS MISCARRY. Received 22, 4.25 p.m. Calcutta, November 21. With a view to outwitting the Government, extremists at Calcutta, constructed an effigy of Saycndara, tho murderer, intending to carry it to the river-side after tne execution to-day. The authorities posted notices forbidding the procession.
