WELLINGTON SESSION'S. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Saturiuir. At the Supreme Court to-day George Leieh was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment for forging a receipt for a money order telegram. On a charge of break hg and entering Charles l'.eston was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Wellington, Last Night.
At the Supreme Court yesterday J'as. lieid. charged with assault and robbery, pleaded not guilty. The trouble arose out of a drunken row, and the jury could not agree and were discharged. A new trial will lie taken on ilondav. AUCKLAND SESSIONS. Auckland, Saturday. In the Supreme Court Kennedy Thomson, charged with breaking and entering, - wap, sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment. Robert -Tames Tfryden, alias Jack Wooilnrd, charged with theft of jewellery and horse stealing, had a bad record and was sentenced to three years' imprisonment on caeh charge, sentences to be concurrent. Tatrick Small, charged with indecent assault on a little girl at ITikurnngi, was acquitted after a re-trial.
