"STATUES IN miS." An amusing incident is told ill connection willi tlic Kilties departure from Omnia, and their farewell appearand! in Vancouver. The best advertisement ever seen in New Plymouth however, was that afforded by one of the Kiltie giants, Major Mackenzie, who was in town for a few hours yesterday morning, and aroused much interest in the forthcoming visit of the [ Hand to New Plymouth, oil Thursday, | lird December. Some idea of tile magnetic power of the Kilties may lie gauged by the result of the Auckland season, where the prices of admission have been doubled, and on Wednesday the booking ollice had to close, tile whole of the reserved seating accommodation for (lie remaining four days of the season having ltcen booked. ;uid in Addition (wo extra matinees have had to be arranged for. The l!ox I'hin for the New Plymouth' performance is now filling up at the Dresden.
