, THE EGMOXT ELECTION. I To the Hfitor. ■ Sir.—l am wondering what the electors of Egmont will think when they hear that Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, aft* spending the last two months in proving to the electors that Mr. Dive is utterly unfit to represent them, has noiv turned round and is asking us to put Tjlr. Dive in at the second ballo,! Nowadays a politician requires a fac-c of brass. This latest move has a trid:y appearance and will not be likely to influence many of 'Mr. Wilkinson's supporters, most of whom are going solidlv for Mr. Wake—l am, etc., 3 DISGUSTED.
