DEARTH OF MINISTERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Wednesday. The Presbyterian Assembly decided in order to meet the dearth in the ministry in New Zealand to communicate, with the Home Church with a view to obtaining suitable men. There Are thirty vacancies. TESTIMONIAL TO A FOOTBALLER. Wellington, Last Night. At a concert to-night in tlie Town Mall, the national testimonial to W. J. I Wallace, the well-known footballer, was presented by the Prime Minister. Wallace was given a cheque for £250, and id to receive the proceeds of to-aigiit's [ concert, which may run into £SO or thereabouts.
