A house at owned by M". Adams, and situated on the former Stouart ..estate, was totally destroyed by fire on Saturday afternoon at about 2 o'clock, during the absence of the occupants. .Mr. 11. Towler, a 'former resident of Strathinore, had a piano ;cr; other furniture stored in the house, which was also destroyed. Mr. Ailaniheld an insurance policy in the Cnarilian olliee, but the amount is not available for publication—Post.
