Mr. Jredale devoted himself principally to birds and sheila, the Messrs. Oliver "Bros. to botany and geology, Mr. Wallace to entomology, and .Mr. Warden to meteorology. The members of the party enjoyed excellent
health during their stay on the islands, and they all express themselves satisfied with the results of the expedlI tion. They found u number 0 f things that they did not expect to discover lhere were daily excursions to tlio different parts of the islands whenever the weather permitted, and the outside lands of the group were visited when possible. All the members of the partv enjoyed good health, and there was no sickness.
