STOLEN' NATIVE FEAST. SIX MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. Hy Telegraph.—Press Association. Wairoa, Last Night: Eleven natives, charged with stealing and eating two cows, valued at .€lO, were sentenced to six months' each with hard labor.

BOY BURGLARS. Invercargill, Last Night. Two lads, 11 and il years of age respectively, who were convicted on October 20th of burglariously entering private dwellings and one of whom received twelve strokes of the birch, were before Mr. Cruickshank, S.M., this morning charged with breaking and enuring four offices. The boys pleaded guilty to all the charges. The case was adjourned for a week.

CHARGES OF CATTLE STEALING. Masterton, Thursday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day two youths named Gilbert Laugdon and Clifford Jackson were charged withi cattle stealing. Frank Carr was charged with receiving the cattle alleged to be stolen. Jackson and Carr pleaded not gnilty and reserved their defence. Langdon pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence. Bail was declined in Langdon's case, accused still having to answer a charge of horse stealing at Dannevirke. The cattle were taken from Wairarapa and trucked to Ormondville where some were disposed iof to the butchers. The ages of the accused are from sixteen to eighteen years.
