T'le performance was a revelation to all. !t was hard for those present to conceive that one so voting could attain to such a high state'otlffieicncy and skill. The exquisite tone fie gets from his instr,!ment is truly remarkable, as is his interpretation of most difficult pieces, lie plays his pieces without the aid cf music, showing that his memory '.s phenomenal. Every number given last night was received with enthusiasm, and encores were repeatedly called for and complied with. Pianoforte so'hs were contributed during the evening by Mr. Stewart Austin, and songs by Miss Kenton, Mr. Guy, Mr. Sumner, and Mr. Woodard. These items were all well rendered and appreciated.
