THE PREMIER'S SPEECH.. The Times says: "Mr. Asquith's remarkable speech was instinct with a. breadth, clearness of view, and earnest but restrained patriotism tha.t must raise him to a new and higher place in the estimation of his countrymen. The speech is not unworthy to rank in wisdom and courage with those of some of 1 his most illustrious predecessors,"
