- i BIKj SCORING. I I Sydney, November 10. in a match New South \Vale3 Eleven against the Next Eleven, Noble scored 112 and S. (.Jregory 100. The partnership yielded 201. WAITARA v. NEW PLYMOUTH " T.l's." A very enjoyable match was played at Waitara on King's Birthday between the above-mentioned teams, and ended in a win for the latter by 22 runs. For the winners, Sumner, Hill and Southall batted well in the first innings, Hill and Southall having the pleasure of hitting the. first sixes that have been scored on the Waitara ground this season. The bowling honors of the day fell to Sumner and Hill. For the losers Hawkins and Boddley in the first innings batted well, the former playing a splendid defensive game. Bond and W. Skelton were the only batsmen to get going, the former playing fine, free cricket. Bowling honors were sliared by Hawkin, Bond, \V. Skelton and P. Skelton.
