TAJIANAKI SEAT. At Upper Mangorei on llondav night there was only a fair attendance of electors to hear Mr. Malone's political address. Matter not hitherto reported was a reference to the provision in the °rth Island by the Government of grass seed to the value of over jC24,Uuy i to the sufferers from bush fires last summer. A vote of thanks was cani-d with acclamation. | Mr. Malone addressed the electors at Upper Kent Road on Tuesday uight last. In s pite of the dirty weather there was a very good attendance, and Mr. Malone was accorded a very friendly hearing. His speech was received with plenty of applause. Mr. Houlihan was in the chair. A vote of thanks was carried with acclamation.

Mr. 0. E. Bellringer had a verv successful meeting at Lepperton on* Wednesday evening. Mr. Brown was voted to the chair. In an address of an hour ami a-half's duration Mr. Bellrin-'cr vigorously defended the Government policy and endeavored to demonstrate the weakness of the contentions of tiie Opposition. His remarks were frequently applauded, and at the close a vote jf thanks was moved by Mr. H. Lepper seconded by Mr. Wright, and unanimously carried.
