There are three nominations for the Waitara riding, the. two sitting members and Mr. Stanley. In the Omata riding additional interest is lent to the selection of three councillors from the five aspirants, owing to the 'present inclusion of the new llurwortk riding within :'ts boundaries. There are two nominations (Messrs. Carter and Glegg) from the 1 Hurworlh riding area. Tile date of the poll is the 11th instant. Particulars of polling-places arc advertised diewhere in this issue.
