WAIiEA. j (From Our Own Correspondent). A Farmers' Union meeting took place in the Hall on Monday evening. There was a fair attendance, and Air. J. Burgess presided. 'A letter was read from tile provincial executive recommending that the Joucs-Kviuis testimonial he supported and that the secretaries be asked to approach all farmers for a subscription. All the candidates for the Taranaki seal havenow visited here. Rifle-shooting is now over for the. milking season, and cricket has taken its place. A team from J.'cw Vlymoulh is paying us a visit on the !)th November, when they play a match against the local team. The milk supply at the local factor,is still increasing. Several suppliers are now forwarding 2(Joulbs daily.
