AX ANGRY DEMONSTRATION. JUDGE HOOTED IN COUItT. ' Received 3, 0.30 a.m. Sydney, East Night. A strike of rock-choppers at the city sewerage works resulted in, a charge of instigating a strike being preferred under the Industrial Disputes Act against the executive of the' Rockchoppers' Union. Ryan, the secretary of the Union, wus fined £3O, or six weeks' imprisonment. Ryan declared he would go to prison. The sentence was received with an angry demonstration on the part of t'je two hundred strikers who wore iu Court. They hooted the Judge and scrambled over the seats to shako hands with Ryan. The cases against tho other luenibsva of the executive were postponed.
