Kerr, who represented jNew Zealand in walking events at the Olvm-' pic Games in London, was entertained I by tile Wellington Amateur Atlllelie Club and subscribers to the presentation iund to-night. In replying to ap preciative speeches. Kerr said if a representative were sent to future Olympic Ganii's he ought to go earlier than he (Kerr) had gone. He had not hail time to get into form, and was only beginning to walk- well just before lie left England.
