THE AMERICAN FLEET.
New York, October 20. President Roosevelt has sent a message to Japan thanking the Mikado for the signal generosity, courtesy, and ihospitaiity with which Admiral Sperry's ileet was welcomed. He expressed America's deep appreciation of this cordial reception.
