The entries for the factory butter classes at the coming show of the Taranaki Agricultural Society closed on Saturday. The number is well in advance of last year's. Kntries this year closed nine days earlier so that thebutter to be judged at the show should correspond in age with that arrivii.'g on the English markect. In the harness section a class has been inadvertently omitted from the schedule. A class is provided for ponies of 12 hands and under, to be shown and driven in harness.
