The Kittawa is expected to-morrow from Westport with 000 tons of Sta'e "coal. . The Takapuna from south yesterday morning brought transhipments ex Maheno and Warrimoo. The Rotoiti brought 42 tons oi car'o from Onehunga yesterday morning. Included in this were 240 bags of sugar, 32 bags of manure, and 111 cases cf fruit. According to the Otago Daily Times, the reef at Bluff wharf, on which blasting and deepening operations are going on, has lately developed into a mineralised seam. A piece of the latter has been submitted for analysis. The result given is 12s per ton in gold.
