Bright, wlwlcsomu entertainment, without a trace of anything to which exception can be taken, is the rule laid down by tiie management, and every film being entirely new interest is always sustained throughout their entertainments. The pictures of the Zambesi Kails give a fine idea, of the majesty of the falls, among the greatest in the. -world, and the films depicting life in | '•Sunny Madeira'' and a "Hear Hunt" are a programme in tliejnselves. No picture to be shown tonight has ever ibeen previously exhibited in this theatre. The usual prices are ruling, and the box plan is now oppn.

'•J'ACtJWi THE HUSK!." A full-dress rehearsal of "Facing the Music'' was held last night at the Theatre Jtoyal. Those who were privileged to witness the performance subsequently expressed themselves as highly pleased with the manner in which the performers entered into the spirit of the piece.

WEST'S PICTURES. Mr. West's recent visit to England has resulted in that gentleman securing a magnificent selection of new and up-to-date films. The demand for genuine pictures of .scenes and events in countries which it is impossible for the ordinary individual to visit has "induced i Mr. West to obtain a greni collection of moving photographs of actual eviils of recent occurrence in tlie Old World. The "comic" is. of course, introduced into every programme, as .Mr. West believes in catering lor Hie risible faculties, but the pictures as a whole arc of a more educational description than is the case iu many other |iieture entertainments. To secure these subjects has cost time and money, but the tre- | niondous audiences which have everywhere patronised "West's Pictures" proves that the management has correctly guaged the wants uf the public. Only two entertainments will lie given in New Plymouth, different programmes being promised each evening. The box office is open at the Dresden.
