There is greater interest being taken here 151 cricket this season than ever .before m the history of the game. It is estimated that fully 1000 cricketers took part in competition games under
the control of the various bodies yesterday. The Auckland Cvieket Association lias an increase of entries in all grades. The Auckland Associated League has 24 teams under its control. The Sunday Schools' Association has l.i. while the secondly and public schools' competitions also show increased entries.
