WINDING IT THE BUSINESS. London, October lli. A provisional liquidator has been appointed to wind up the business of Wilier and li'ley, Ltd. ' The appointment was made on creditors' petition.
Representatives of tiic directorates of tile Kaupokoiiui, Ivaponga, Mangatoki, and Midhirst Co-operative Dairy Companivg met Mr. S. Turner, of Wilier and liilcy, lmtter agents, at Eltliani on Thursday, to discuss the business 'position existing between the parties. These companies had arranged to consign their produce through Wilier and Riley, but since then, owing to complication* on the Continent, tlic firm lwd thought fit to liquidate, presumably to reconstruct in order to strengthen their position. The question at issue was whetlher, the firm having liquidated, the companies were bound to stand by their arrangement. There were twenty factory director* present, including Messrs. W. Borrie, E. C. Barleyman (Kanpokonui), M. Fitzgerald (Kaponga), •!. Marx (Mangutoki), and Brown' (Midhirst). After a very long discussion the representatives decided to make fresh arrangements for the disposal of their outputs. This arrangement will in all probability include produce now on the water."
